Everyone's working hard. So why are orders still running late?
Your floor is busy, your office is busy, and you're busy putting out fires. Rush orders jump the queue, handovers get missed between shifts, and the same problems come back week after week. In manufacturing, the problem is rarely effort. It's how good people with different working styles prioritise, communicate and hand work over.
Built for businesses like yours
If you run a team of 10 or more people across the office and the floor, this is for you.
What it looks like day to day
Recognisable, everyday examples:
Everything is a rush
Urgent orders, customer calls and breakdowns all land at once. Without shared priorities, the loudest problem wins and the plan goes out the window.
Lost in the handover
Information doesn't make it between shifts, or from the office to the floor, so work gets done twice or done wrong.
The office and the floor speak different languages
Sales promises, production plans and what the floor can actually deliver don't line up, and good people end up frustrated with each other.
The owner is the safety net
Every decision, problem and "quick question" comes back to you or your managers, so the business can't move faster than you can.
Why it happens
People relate to time differently, so they decide what matters first differently. Our Time Centric Archetypes™ explain why. A Time Treasurer wants it out the door. A Time Validator won't release it until it's right. A Time Bender jumps straight to a solution. A Time Sitter quietly looks after the crew and takes on whatever is left. On a busy floor, all four are working side by side under pressure. Until those differences are named, they clash instead of complementing each other.
What it costs your business
- Hours in, less outPeople are on the clock and working hard, but less of that time turns into finished, on-time orders.
- Rework and repeat problemsJobs are redone, and the same issues come back because the cause was never between people, it was in how they work together.
- Late deliveries and overtimeRushed orders push everything else back, and overtime becomes the normal way to catch up.
- Tired teams and turnoverWhen every week is a scramble, good people burn out or leave, and their know-how leaves with them.
- Leaders stuck firefightingOwners and managers spend their days solving today's problems instead of building the business.
30 minutes lost per person, per day, across a team of 16 adds up to a full-time employee you're paying for no output.
What changes when teams understand how each person relates to time
When your people understand how each of them relates to time, things shift quickly.
Priorities agreed, not shouted
Clearer handovers
Fewer problems come back
Orders out the door
How we help
Discover
Four workshop sessions over eight weeks, one every second week, for your team. Everyone is profiled and has a 30-minute individual unpack. Together we map how each person relates to time, what they treat as urgent, and where work gets stuck between people, shifts and departments. Sessions are run in groups of no more than 15, so we can work with the office and the floor.

A 6-month program of monthly workshops, check-ins and 121 coaching. We turn what the team learned into a shared way of setting priorities, handing work over and protecting focus, with progress measured and reviewed at month 6.
